• Financial Modelling -all sectors
  Modeling helps answer questions ranging from “what-if” to optimisation i.e.
  • How to blend different coal qualities to optimise revenue, based on forecast prices and  FX
  • If I apply inflation to opex and capex but not the product price, does the investment still meet my IRR hurdle?
  • What is the appropriate level of IRS (Interest Rate Swaps) hedging on a loan given the forecast yield curve and our capex profile?
  • Does the high AUD forecast for FY2029 (thus lower gold revenue) mean we should defer maintenance capex that year?
  • Have we included all Opex & Capex, and are we using the correct WACC (and asset Beta, and Rf and Rm) to solve the tariff for our infrastructure asset?
  • Does my WACC match the cashflows? i.e. a post tax nominal WACC should be applied to post-tax nominal cashflows
  • If Im buying a gas pipeline should I use pretax or post tax cashflows ( and corresponding WACC) to calculate the asset value. If Im selling the pipeline does that answer change?

    Types of assignments : We build, re-build, and audit financial models for a variety of end uses: Borrowing, Lending, Feasibility of a new project, Valuations, IPO, Strategic Analysis, etc.  We “uncomplicate” the numbers for Clients and create an easy-to-use tool which they can use to make better business decisions going forward.

• Mining  Since 2016 we have been involved in > AUD$2billion of transaction re Mining & Infra. We execute a variety of workstreams:  financial modelling, CFO support, Transaction support, Debt Advisory & fund raising for miners.  For new funding, we have a wide range of funders across senior debt, mezzanine, project finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, royalties & streaming, and offtake advances from Traders. 
• Mines For Sale  (and processing plant).  From small beginnings: In 2021, whilst working for Chinova Resources re debt advisory, our client gave us $20m of copper/gold processing plant to sell as well as some small non-core leases, due to our extensive network in Australian mining, so we started a new page “Mines & Processing Plant For Sale”.  As miners around Australia, and globally, saw this page, they asked us to sell their leases, and so.. today we are the #1 ranking site in Australia for searches on
