In her banking career Emma amassed extensive transaction experience across Project Finance, Natural Resources, Leveraged finance and Private Equity, and executing all tasks from financial modelling to credit analysis, origination and coverage, to debt structuring/advisory. Emma now uses that experience to assist our clients across a wide range of mandates.
Emma speaks Italian, French and German.

Over his career Jean Francois has undertaken technical due diligence, financial modeling and analysis on behalf of large investment banks for the provision of both debt and equity to junior, mid-cap and major resource companies. His experience also includes corporate advisory, mergers & acquisitions and equity research. Prior to joining the finance industry in 2000, Jean Francois worked in New Caledonia, Australia and Chile in grass root exploration, mine development, resource estimation and financial evaluation of mining projects throughout the world. Jean Francois has a wide range of commodity experience including precious metals, base metals, iron ore, coal and specialty metals such as lithium.

Dennis has deep knowledge in the financial sector from both direct involvement with clients, and from studying newly developed theoretical valuation approaches as part of his Ph.D. He has worked at HSBC in the Equity Research department and employed valuation techniques, that he also teaches in our courses.

Bertrand started his international career in industry and moved onto several roles, including improvement projects, knowledge management and coordination activities. Bertrand is skilled in quantitative methods and the practical application of economics and finance to businesses. He is also an advanced user of Excel and other programming languages.

Marco has worked 4 years developing his own start-up focusing on business models, financial sustainability and growth and marketing strategic development. He’s a technology and Excel heavy user, and thus has developed skills that allow him to use Excel from a simple sales funnel construction to a detailed 15-year business plan with multiple variables and scenario testing. Working for his start-up has given him vast Excel and Advanced Modelling knowledge, which he teaches to our clients in Europe, and uses in his consulting assignments. Marco also has a speciality in renewable energy, having completed his Master Thesis on Geothermal Heat Pumps.

Edouard has worked in investment banking in London and Switzerland mainly with Foreign Exchange and derivatives products. A digital age enthusiast, Edouard has also developed expert VBA skills in order to answer specific business issues encountered during his international banking experience. He is also a business intelligence and financial reporting specialist qualified with IBM Cognos TM1 and Business Objects Desktop Intelligence.

Victor has had a long career in natural resources starting as a lecturer in 1978 at the University of NSW, in mining economics, geostatistics, and mineral processing. In 1984 he moved to the stock broking industry working for a number of brokers including James Capel, DBSM and Prudential Bache. He became a rated mining and energy analyst and was voted by his peers as one of the Top Three energy analysts in Australia in the BRW 1994 Analyst Survey. In 1995 he moved to the corporate side of investment banking and worked for a number of leading firms including Macintosh Corporate, Deutsche Bank, Hartley Poynton and CIBC. In his role as a corporate advisor he was involved in numerous capital raisings, IPOs, corporate valuations and divestments. Victor has continued in his role as an advisor to listed and private mining companies on financial modelling, restructuring, resource valuation and capital raisings. He has previously advised government and semi government agencies on resource valuations and has acted as an expert witness on mining and ASX matters.
